Our Story
how we began
As an organisation, we started in 2008 and were founded by Mukose Henry. Who grew up in Butaleja as an Orphan raised by the Community members after his parents passed away in and accident from the burial of the family relatives. After being raised and educated with community and finished with college. Mukose found it necessary to open up a community Charity Organization to help the most vulnerable who were desperately in need.
In 2008, we started with just 30 children But now support over 500 children and their families through our different programs. In all our work, we continue to maintain the personal community involvement that has become the trademark of pearl charity organization. We pride ourselves on having a close working relationship with our beneficiaries and for our hands on approach to our work.
